In entertainment news, Camp Comedy comes to Gate69 in Bree Street on Monday 27th while music events include the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra concluding the winter symphony season at City Hall on Thursday 30th, the Spilt Milk Techno Music Festival at the Green Point Cricket Club on Saturday 1st, and Jeremy Loops performing live at the Franschhoek Cellar on Sunday 2nd.
Speaking of sweet sounds, here are five spots to find good food, wine, and music this winter. And let’s not forget this week’s culinary highlight: the Cape Town Street Food Festival, voted as one of National Geographic’s 25 unmissable food and drinks festivals in the world. It launches at House of Machines on Friday 31st and includes a night market on Saturday 1st and a day market on Sunday 2nd, both at the V&A Waterfront.
