From Tuesday 4th to Friday 7th, you can visit six food and drinks spots in the CBD with Cape Town Food Walk. To guide you through the city, we’ve got a Long Street cheat sheet as well as restaurant recommendations to help you during the day: Free From Eatery for an affordable breakfast; Safari #7 for a ‘pay-what-you-can’ lunch; and an international dinner at the new Picadas Latino Bar or the beautiful Asian-inspired Bao Down.
Another highlight this week is Noble Vice, an all-inclusive boutique wine and food experience at the Old Biscuit Mill on Sunday 9th. And speaking of fine wines, if you’re attending the annual Nederburg Auction on Saturday 8th, here are some ideas of things to do in Paarl.
If you want some singing with your supper, this is your last week to watch the Snip/Tucked medical musical at Gate69. You can also enjoy more music with a free lunchtime concert from the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra in the Artscape Theatre Chandelier Foyer on Tuesday 4th or curl up with great reading and conversations at the annual Open Book Festival (in and around District Six) from Wednesday 5th to Sunday 9th. Whatever you do, we hope your Cape Town story is a happy one!
