To celebrate World Vegan Day on Thursday 1st, here’s where to find the best vegan restaurants in Cape Town as well as five great vegan desserts. To celebrate Day of the Dead on Friday 2nd, get to one of Cape Town’s best Mexican restaurants for a treat. And to celebrate World Sandwich Day (yes, it’s a thing) on Saturday 3rd, take a bite of some great sandwiches in the city bowl.
Other foodie highlights this week include three different festivals on Saturday 3rd: FoodEx Cape Town at the Grand Arena, the Jamestown Strawberry Festival in Stellenbosch, and the Paul René Splash of Pink Bubbly Festival in Robertson.
Indeed, if you’re in the mood for a trip, hop on a steam train to Elgin, go for a drive with Kiff Kombi Tours, or end your day with a City Sightseeing Sunset Bus (and the start of the Table Mountain Cableway Sunset Special). Wherever the journey takes you, we hope you enjoy the ride!
